What every children want is a christmas party, for santa claus to come and display, so most times all schools tend to do what is called end of the party or xmas party. Information reaching OUR DESK says that, a baby died after being carried by a santa claus(father christmas) in an end of year party conducted in one of the schools in Nigeria. The undisclosed source says, it was all fun at the beginning, when pupils, students, teachers, parents, and well wishers gathered to celebrate the end of year party of the school which is normally held to merry with one another and to wish everyone a merry xmas and a happy new year in advance.
It was said that the father christmas was sitting close to a sound system, which was outside and was visible to everyone, for the children to come forward and have a hand shake and collect their gifts. It was an unfortunate incident for a mother who brought her children, one very tender, as the tender baby approached the father xmas she started crying serious, while her mum was advance, laughing at the act of the baby, it was then noticed that by the time they advanced very close to the santa, the baby stop crying and santa carried her, only for santa claus to discover she was no longer breathing. She was then rushed out to the clinic, and news broke the baby d*ed. What a pity. That is so unfortunate.
